Free Horse Racing System - By Jason M Stevens

The method I will be describing is a free horse racing system that will make you consistent profits if applied correctly. The bet will be a 'Take On bet.' We are betting against a horse-laying it instead of placing a traditional back bet, because betting exchanges allow us to do this. Of all the systems I use to generate profits on the exchanges, the Lay bet is the one with which I am very selective. This is because it concerns short price favourites - and these horses are usually favourites for good reasons and they win 40-50% of of the time.

So to oppose a short price favourite we need pretty solid reasons for doing so because no horse racing systems are infallible. In order to determine the favourites true chances of winning we need to study the form a little. Racing Post and Sporting Life are two UK based websites with excellent in depth form guides. There are many factors to consider when looking at the chances of the horse we are laying, also we need to look at it's strongest competitors in the field. There needs to something in the field with an equal of better chance of beating the favourite.

The successfully applied Lay Bet ideally requires three thing:
1. A race where the favourite is trading at 3.50 or less
2. At least 25% of the Lay criteria matched about the favourite (see below)
3. At least one other horse in the field whose chances of winning match the favourite

The all important factors about the favourite being considered for a Lay Bet would be considered as strikes against the favourite. Here it is important to study the form of that horse against 8 criteria.
1. It is showing signs of having peaked in form.
2. It has never raced before.
3. It is running over a new distance for the first time.
4. It is running on a certain surface for the first time.
5. It has not been proven on the ground.
6. It is carrying excessive weight
7. It is stepping up the class of race
8. It has not run for a long period of time

I would suggest that at least 3 of the above criteria should be matched to consider laying a strong favourite, of course some factors are more important than others but with experience it becomes possible to make the correct judgements.

Like all methods and Horse Racing systems the stake you place should be measurable against your betting bank. If you adhere to all the lay factors there is a very good chance of success. I usually keep stakes to 5% of my betting bank then if the selection does happen to win it is not the end of the world as liability Laying favourites is generally low, this is the surest way to keep things manageable, whatever the race outcome.

With over 10 years experience on the betting exchanges I have systems in place that virtually make money on auto-pilot, The betting exchanges have revolutionized the betting industry and with legalisation imminent in the US the opportunities and liquidity of the markets can only get stronger. The exchanges offer the possibility of having your own personal money tree if used correctly.
