Ludlow Racecourse And The Town Make A Great Day Vacation
As long as the horses are running, I cherish the chance to head to Ludlow. Ludlow racecourse and the town of Ludlow make an outstanding destination for a day of personal "me" time.
Besides the thrills of a good race, it's also easy to do some great shopping and enjoy a wonderful meal or two. Of course, the main attraction is getting a first-hand look at some of the UK's finest racing.

I'm also a fan of the Ludlow golf club, which couldn't be more convenient when I visit the course.

It even gives me a reason to get away to Ludlow during the summer months!

Horse Racing At Ludlow Is A Special Event
I have always been a huge fan of horse racing and find the race courses in England to be some of the best around. So naturally I was very happy when my wife suggested we check out horse racing at Ludlow during our trip to England.

I have always wanted to attend the race course in Ludlow since seeing all those beautiful pictures of the track. In addition to watching the races I look forward to placing a few bets. Maybe I will come home from my trip with a few extra dollars!

My Interest In The History of Ludlow Racecourse
Always a fan of horse racing, I have made it a point to learn all I can about historic courses across the country and indeed the world. For that reason, my recent visit to Shropshire led me to develop something of a fascination with the history of Ludlow Racecourse.

I have since discovered that the entire area surrounding the venue has a storied sporting past. The course itself is emblematic of its Edwardian heyday, and the fact that the course itself is surrounded by one of the oldest golf facilities in the region makes it all the more fascinating to folks like me.

Attending Ludlow Racecourse for the very first time
Last year while visiting family in Birmingham, my brother suggested we take a trip to the Ludlow racecourse.

I have never been to any racecourse, so of course I was intrigued by the prospect of going.

Before going, I did an online search for Ludlow racecourse to gather information about the course. I am a big history buff and wanted to know about all the special events that have taken place at this course. I have to say that this racecourse was really something special, especially being there in person!

Ludlow The Town
Ludlow RaceLudlow and its castle are perched on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme in south Shropshire, the town breathes history at every turn.
The town centre's ordered elegance is evidence of the 900 year old Norman planned town which is lively and unspoilt and with over 500 listed buildings, mainly Georgian or half-timbered, Ludlow is a feast for the eyes.
